Araucaria heterophylla is an evergreen tree that can grow up to 60 meters (197 feet) tall in its natural habitat. The plant has a distinctive symmetrical shape and needle-like leaves that can grow up to 5 cm (2 inches) long. It produces cones that can reach up to 20 cm (8 inches) in length.
