Trapa natans bicornis is an aquatic plant species that is commonly known as Bicorn Horned Nut or Water Chestnut. It is a floating plant with submerged roots that can grow up to 4 meters long. The plant has two types of leaves, one that floats on the surface of the water and the other that is submerged. It produces small, white flowers that bloom above the water surface and later develop into a fruit that resembles a chestnut.
