Pilosocereus pentaedrophorus is a species of cactus that has a cylindrical stem with five or six sides. It can grow up to 10 meters (33 feet) tall and 15 cm (6 inches) in diameter. It has small, white, spiny areoles that produce yellowish-brown spines. The plant produces beautiful, large, white flowers that bloom at night and are pollinated by bats.
