Arbutus unedo is an evergreen shrub or small tree that can grow up to 5-10 meters tall. It has a reddish-brown bark and leathery, glossy green leaves. The plant produces clusters of small, bell-shaped white or pink flowers in the fall, followed by round, orange-red fruits that resemble strawberries.
