The PlantSnap Summer Photo Contest 2025 is here! From August 2 – September 6, 2025, we’re giving you the chance to win up to $1,000 USD simply by sharing your plant photography with the PlantSnap community.
Each week, one winner will take home $250 USD, and at the end of the contest, the three weekly winners will compete in a final vote for the $750 Grand Prize.
There’s no limit to how many photos you can enter – the more you post, the more chances you have to win!

📸 How to enter (Step-by-step)
- Submit a post in the PlantSnap Community.
- Add a caption and include the hashtag #photocontest25.
- Add a plant tag, location and share the post on other social media for extra points.
- You can submit as many entries as you like – each post is judged separately.
👉 Tip: Creative, clear photos with plant tags have the best chance of making it to the finalist round.

Voting is how the PlantSnap community helps decide the winners, and every vote matters!
- Each week, the PlantSnap team will select 4 finalist photos from all eligible entries.
- Finalist photos will be posted on a dedicated PlantSnap voting page.
- You can vote only once per week, so choose carefully.
- Voting closes each Sunday at 11:59 PM (local time).
- The photo with the most votes at the end of each weekend wins.
- Grand Prize voting starts August 30, 2025, and the winner will be revealed September 6, 2025.
