Tell us why you love PlantSnap!
Share a short video, photo post, or creative entry explaining how PlantSnap helps you identify plants, care for your garden, learn more about nature, or feel more connected to the plant world.
📅 Contest period & key dates
Contest Start: On or around July 25, 2026
Contest Length: Approximately 4 weeks
Theme 1: Week 1
Theme 2: Week 2
Theme 3: Weeks 3–4
Finalists Announced: After each themed entry period
Public Voting: Finalists will be featured on a PlantSnap voting page
Winners Announced: After voting concludes
Exact dates, voting windows, and winner announcement dates will be shared on the official contest page.
📸 How to enter
Entering is simple:
- Register through the official PlantSnap contest page.
- Create an original plant photo or video.
- Post it from a public social media account.
- Include the hashtag #PlantSnapContest2026.
- Keep your post public until the end of the contest.
You can submit multiple entries during the contest. Each eligible post will be reviewed separately.
🗳️ How voting works
After each themed entry period, the PlantSnap team will review eligible entries and select finalists.
Finalists may be featured on a PlantSnap voting page, PlantSnap website, in-app page, email, social media, or contest platform.
The public will then be able to vote for their favorite finalists.
Instagram likes, follower counts, comments, or shares on your own account will not decide the winner. This keeps the contest fair and gives everyone a real chance, whether you have 50 followers or 50,000.
👩🌾 Who can participate?
This contest is for plant lovers everywhere.
You can join whether you are:
- A gardener
- A houseplant collector
- A beginner plant parent
- A nature lover
- A PlantSnap user
- A Flora Live user
- Someone who simply enjoys taking beautiful plant photos or videos
Participants must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their place of residence, and must be located where the contest is permitted by law.
✅ Entry requirements
To be eligible:
- Your entry must be original and created by you.
- Your post must include #PlantSnapContest2026.
- Your social media account must be public so PlantSnap can review the entry.
- Your post must remain visible until the end of the contest.
- Your entry must not include copied content, stock images, AI-generated content, unauthorized music, unsafe plant handling, offensive content, or anything that violates another person’s rights.
PlantSnap may disqualify entries that do not follow the rules or do not reflect the spirit of the contest.
🎁 Flora Live Entry Prize
Eligible registrants receive one month of Flora Live access through the PlantSnap app.
Flora Live gives you live plant care guidance when you need help understanding, identifying, or caring for your plants.
No purchase is required to enter or win.
🏆 Prizes
Winners will be selected for each contest theme and for the Flora Live category.
The following prizes may be awarded:

By registering for the contest or submitting an entry, you agree to the full Official Rules & Conditions.
No purchase is required to enter or win. Eligible registrants may receive one month of Flora Live access through the app. This is a subscription offer and will automatically convert into a paid subscription at the price shown at checkout unless canceled before the end of the trial or offer period.
