

Murraya koenigii is a tropical to sub-tropical tree in the Rutaceae family, which is native to India and Sri Lanka. It is a small evergreen tree or shrub which grows up to 4-6 meters tall. The leaves are pinnate, with 11-21 leaflets, each leaflet about 2-4 cm long and 1-2 cm wide. The flowers are small, white and fragrant, and bloom in clusters in the summer. The fruit is a small, shiny, black berry, about the size of a small pea.
