Cupressus macrocarpa is a coniferous evergreen tree that can grow up to 80 feet (24 meters) tall with a trunk diameter of up to 7 feet (2.1 meters). It has a dense, pyramidal shape and gray-green foliage. The tree produces small, round cones that are about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter.
