Acer negundo, commonly known as boxelder or maple ash, is a species of maple native to North America. It is a fast-growing, medium-sized deciduous tree that can reach up to 50 feet (15 meters) in height. The leaves are pinnately compound with 3-7 leaflets, and the bark is light gray and smooth when young, becoming rough and furrowed with age.
