Hordeum brachyantherum is a species of barley known by the common name meadow barley. It is a perennial grass native to western North America. It is a bunchgrass forming clumps of stems up to 90 centimeters tall. The inflorescence is a spike up to 20 centimeters long bearing spikelets up to 2.5 centimeters in length.
