Lilium longiflorum is a species of lily native to Japan. It is a stem rooting lily, growing up to 1 m (3 ft 3 in) tall, with fragrant, pure white trumpet-shaped flowers. The flowers are large in size, measuring up to 25 cm (10 in) long and 10 cm (4 in) wide. The plant blooms in late spring and early summer.

The Easter lily requires bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves and flowers.
The Easter lily prefers moderate humidity levels. Place a tray of pebbles filled with water under the pot to increase humidity.
Fertilize the plant every 2-3 weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer during the growing season. Stop fertilizing after the plant has finished blooming.
Remove spent flowers and yellowing leaves to encourage new growth. Cut back the stem to the base of the plant once all the flowers have wilted.
Common pests that can affect the Easter lily include spider mites, aphids, and mealybugs. Diseases such as botrytis and fungal leaf spots can also occur.

The soil should be kept moist but not waterlogged. Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch.
The ideal temperature range for the Easter lily is between 60-75°F (15-24°C). Avoid placing the plant near drafts or heating/cooling vents.
