The Yellow Trumpet Tree prefers full sun, but can tolerate partial shade.
The plant prefers moderate to high humidity levels, but can tolerate lower levels.
Fertilize the plant with a balanced fertilizer every two weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
Prune the tree in late winter or early spring to remove dead or damaged branches and to shape the tree. The Yellow Trumpet Tree can be pruned heavily if necessary.
Common pests include scale insects and spider mites. Diseases such as root rot and leaf spot can also occur.
Not suitable for indoor growth
The plant requires moderate watering, and the soil should be kept moist but not waterlogged. In the winter, reduce watering and allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings.
The Yellow Trumpet Tree prefers warm temperatures between 18-30°C (65-86°F), but can tolerate cooler temperatures down to 10°C (50°F).
