Hybrid tea rose (Rosa hybrid)

Bodhi Rose I: A simple red rose bush sits atop and is fertilized by Bodhi, a pet Tonkanese cat who was very instrumental in keeping down the squirrel population in the yard. Once he and his brother, Jacques, aka, Jock (because the black and grey striped tabby with a flapping bag for a belly looked like an overweight linebacker when he’d run) - once they died, squirrels took over and it has been a nightmare since. (Jock was cremated and his ashes remain near at all times. Yes, very special, him and his floppy bag.)
