Balkan peony (Paeonia peregrina)

Actually, it’s a paeonia grandiflora. A Coral Sunset Peony. The bloom is at the beginning of its life and will change to a creamy white as it ages. For at least 3 years I plucked its sprouts having mistaken it for a weed. #photocontest
