We live on a sand spit separated from the interior jungle by a lagoon containing fresh water crocodiles. It is a 45-minute drive to the nearest village. The village is a cruise ship port. My garden is a small patch on the far side of the house protected from the constant Tradewind. Jaguars frequently roam the garden at night.
