Hope II / III - The Aloe From the Camillia I walked to the cactus garden, stripped of the plants that gave it a name save for three mighty aloe plants that were so established I left them in ground for winter and lit a candle. We have had two of our allotted fourteen days where it has frozen and the aloe has not been phased. When I squatted on my heels to steady the phone for this picture I realized I was holding the phone steady in my right hand, what had become referred to as my Chicken Wing after the stroke. Lacking any muscle strength or memory, the arm would fold inward toward my torso any time I tried to use it. But there I was holding a phone without so much as a tremble. Also found thriving in the winter climate were patches of sedum ground over in the cactus garden and an abundance of purple shamrocks in the rock garden. It was getting late and I still had to check the bluegrass plugs.
