Oxalis palmiflora - Most of you know I have a love for oxalis, which began after a purple shamrock bloomed from a hidden bulb Midnight Gardener stowawayed inside a ginger pot. The oxalis palmiflora is the most incredible of the oxalis varieties I have come across, but unfortunately fully grown specimens have not liked the conditions here and both plants went toes up dead. I decided to plant some bulbs to see if it would be able to adapt to conditions better from the get go rather than being assaulted with strangeness as an adult. Already I see the oxalis trait of taking over. Notice above the bulb, in the basket with wildflowers, the root from oxalis has joined the others. It sits, one tiny frond, on the plastic grow ring.
