European plum (Prunus domestica)

#photocontest25 The plums, dusky purple and blushed with a silvery sheen, dangle like ornaments in a painter’s still life—plump, fragrant, and full of promise. Each fruit catches the light with a soft luster, their skins taut over juicy flesh that swells with summer’s sweetness. Nestled among lush green leaves, they whisper of late harvests, homemade preserves, and sun-warmed afternoons.
