Description
Rhytidium rugosum is a moss -Art. It is the only species of the genus Rhytidium as well as the family Rhytidiaceae . German-speaking names are runzelmoos, rabbit paws or hare's paws. The genus Rhytidium derives from the Greek rhytides (wrinkles, folds) and refers to the wavy-wrinkled leaves.
