Tomentypnum Moss (Tomentypnum nitens)
Description
The lower plants are medium to strong, green, yellowish or brownish, and often form larger lawns. The trunks have a central cord in the cross-section, are irregularly branched to a fairly regular low branch, and are usually closely leafy, like the straight or curved branches. The adjacent to upright-protruding leaves are lanceolate or narrow triangular (at the widest just above the leaf base), pointed and strongly longitudinfaltig.
