Description
The lying or ascending plants are about 1 centimeter long and 2 millimeters wide and densely packed with rhizoids. The leaves are two-lobed, the smaller upper lobe obliquely directed forward, the two or three times as long lower lobes protrude at right angles from the stem. Both lobes are tongue-shaped and removed notched serrate.
