Description
Nierembergia aristata is a plant of the genus White Cup ( Nierembergia ) in the nightshade family (Solanaceae). Nierembergia arista is a low-growing plant that reaches heights of growth of 20 cm. The roots form nodular nodes with a diameter of 4 to 6 mm and advent roots with a diameter of about 2 mm. The leaves are 10 to 42 mm long and 1 to 5 mm wide, glabrous and linear, elliptic to ovate. The flowers are on 3 to 4 mm long pedicels , the calyx is 13 to 16 mm long and occupied by 5 to 9 mm long, triangular, pointed Kelchzipfeln. The crown is evenly purple in color, the crone size is 18 to 21.5 mm in diameter, the corolla tube is 15 to 29 mm long. The inner Kronlappen are larger than the rest. The stamens tend to diverge.
