Washington Monkeyflower (Mimulus washingtonensis)
Description
Erect stem with many branches, coated with finely stemmed glands. Leaves egg-shaped, shallowly toothed, with petioles as long as blades. Flower stalks ascending about 1 in. Calyx with ridges; flower widely bell-shaped, with fine hairs in throat, yellow with few brown-red spots but no central blotch; lobes all rounded, with lower lobes longer. Grows in moist sandy soil in valleys, occasionally ranging higher.
