Kolopaking's paphiopedilum (Paphiopedilum kolopakingii)
Description
It is a large-sized orchid , which prefers warm weather, with a terrestrial habit. It has 8 to 10 sheets in the form of tapes, obtuse and clear. Flowers in spring in an inflorescence robust and arcuate 40 to 70 cm long, with 6 to 14 densely pubescent flowers with bracts elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, purple striped. This species has the distinction of having the most flowers that open at the same time in the genus.
