Description
It is a small to medium sized orchid with habits of epiphytes , with pseudobulbs10 cm long and 3.5 cm wide. Leaves 38 cm long and 8 cm wide, with 3 prominent nerves; petiole conduplicate. Inflorescence subcapitated with 12-20 flowers of pleasant fragrance, the peduncle 14 cm long, covered with 3 imbricate pods, the flowers with sepals and light yellow-green petals, the somewhat translucent labellum with orange cavity and red spots; sepals 17 mm long and 6 mm wide, fleshy, carinate, subrugrous; petals 15 mm long and 10 mm wide, fleshy; labellum orbicular, deeply sacciform, 14 mm long and 11 mm wide with a transverse opening, entire, with thin and erect edges, fleshy, the cavity surrounded by a slightly elevated tubercular carina, the interior of the papillose cavity; column 8 mm long and wide, completely adnate to the base of the lip.
