Description
It is a species of small to medium sized orchid that prefers warm climate, is epiphytic , deciduous with pseudobulbs basally enveloped by superimposed gray pods and carrying 4 to 5 leaves, apical, elliptical-lanceolate, acuminate, flexible and attenuated at the base articulated It blooms at the beginning of winter in a short inflorescence of 12 cm, which has several bell-shaped, fragrant flowers that emerge from the base of mature psuedobulbs. This species begins to lose its mature leaves in the fall, for this to happen, to irrigate and fertilize much less, until the new growths appear and have 3 cm or more, in which they can be well irrigated again.
