Caca Ravet (Forestiera rhamnifolia)
Description
It is a jungle type plant sufr-tice erecta, 1 m high, with ascending branches; Puberulent stems with starry and tiny trichomes, appearing farinaceous and leaves more or less l-mbicas, 2.5-9.0 cm long, serrated distally, acute or obtuse at the apex, finely purulent on both sides or glabrescent in the beam; Tubular stipules, 5-6 mm long; Solitary pedicels in the armpits and more or less dispersed along the stem, 1-3 cm long; Calyx 5-6 mm long, 10- pitted at base, purulent; Corolla 5-9 mm long, yellow or orange-yellow. Gills 4-5 mm in diameter, glabrous, carious 10-14, muticular or with two spines, the spine sometimes unique due to lack of dehiscence during its development.
