Tomentose Burbark (Triumfetta obliqua)
Description
Triumfetta tomentosa is a shrub growing up to 3 metres tall. The erect stems are 3.5 - 7mm in diameter. The plant has a range of local uses - as a source of medicine, fibre, fuel and food. It has been cultivated in Mauritius for its fibre.
