Wild Plantain (Heliconia irrasa)
Description
Heliconia irrasa is an evergreen, perennial, herbaceous plant , vegetatively similar to a banana plant and with a heightening height of 1.5 to 2 meters. The longest leaves are up to 100 centimeters long and 27 centimeters wide. The inflorescences, which are up to 29 centimeters long, depend on the size of the inflorescences, and six to nine spirally arranged, wave- shaped leaves are found for each inflorescence . Each wrapping consists of 10 to 15 blossoms , the blossom is white to pale yellow, later yellow. The sepals are bald to slightly fluffy hairy at the edges.
