Description
Alluaudia comosa grows as a dense thorny and branched shrub. The plants reach stature heights of 2 to 6 meters. The gray and solitary thorns are round at the base and 1.5 to 3.5 inches long. The single or in pairs standing fleshy leaves are obovate to semi-circular shaped. They are 10 to 22 millimeters long and 10 millimeters wide and are sometimes provided with a rounded tip.
