Description
Native, cool season, perennial, hairless herb to 50 cm tall. Stems are procumbent to ascending. Leaves are oblanceolate to spathulate, thick, 15�30 mm long and 2.5�15 mm wide. Flowerheads are dense cylindrical spikes. Flowers are subsessile and white; the tube is 6�7 mm long and lobes 4�5 mm long. Flowering is from early spring to summer. Grows in heath and dry sclerophyll forest in sandy regions, often near beaches or lagoons.
