Cactus orgulloso (Turbinicarpus beguinii)
Description
Turbinicarpus beguinii grows individually with greyish to bluish green, spherical to short cylindrical-spherical bodies and has fiber roots. The bodies reach stature heights of 7 to 15 centimeters and diameters of 3 to 10 centimeters. Their conical humps are 2 to 3 millimeters high. The 2 to 3 slender, straight, protruding middle spines are white to yellowish brown and darker at the top. They are 12 to 15 millimeters long. The 9 to 27 radiating, straight, white edged thorns are also darker at their top and between 4 and 6 millimeters long.
