Description
Glandora prostrata is aplant species of the Boraginaceae family . Calcifugal shoot up to 50 cm, hairy. Leaves without petioles , with the middle nerve very marked on the beam and protruding on the underside . Corolla 1 to 2 cm, blue or red, with 5 petals welded to form a tube. The 5 stamens inserted at different heights on the corolla tube. Ovary divided into 4 parts. It blooms in winter and spring. In thickets and understories of pine and cork oak forests , rocky slopes, etc., generally in acid substrate; at an altitude of 0-1200 meters .
