Sea Rosemary (Argusia)
Description
Full of essential oils the pungency allies itself to roasting meat and potatoes. Spinkle on pork lamb or rabbit, or sprigs pushed into chicken. Used with roasted vegetables gives a Mediterrean twist. Strew Rosemary on a BBQ to give a wonderful aromatic smoke. Very finely chopped leaves can be added to marinades jellies and sauces. It has been scientifically proved that when eaten improves memory. Also used in herbal ale in fact hence the term bridal coming from the Rosemary Ale given to the bride in white on her wedding day.
