Description
Sansevieria metallica�grows stemless as a�perennial�,�succulent�plant with 2.5 to 4 centimeters thick creeping, bright red�rhizomes, which turn pale brown in the light.�The one to four upright on a shoot�leaves�are elongated lanceolate or broad trough-shaped.�The simple�leaf bladeis 45 to 152 inches long and 5 to 12.7 inches wide.�The upper part is partially bent back slightly.�The lower 10 to 60 centimeters form a tricky stalk.�The dull dark green spear point is 3 to 6 mm long, soft and pretty.�The leaves are dull dark green.�The top is indistinctly provided with irregular transverse bands.�The underside is drawn more clearly.�The soft margin is green, later whitish or slightly reddish brown.�The leaf surface is smooth.
