Description
Finlaysonia is a genus belonging to the family of apocináceas with eight species 3 of flowering plant. It is native to Asia and Australia . It is distributed throughout China , India , the Philippines , Moluccas and New Guinea where it is found along rivers and in low-lying wetlands. They are lianas . The leaf blades are herbaceous or coriaceous, 5-10 cm long and 2.5 cm wide, ovate to oblong or linear to ovate, basally cordate or cuneate, the apex obtuse or acute or acuminate. The inflorescences are axillary, shorter than the adjacent leaves. The flowers are smelly.
