Description

Sanicula odorata, synonym Sanicula gregaria, common names clustered blacksnakeroot,fragrant snakeroot, or yellow-flower sanicle, is a flowering plant native to eastern North America, east of the great plains. It is common in moist woods, becoming rarer at the southern and westernmost parts of its range where its habitat becomes less common.
