Description
Leea rubra is a perennial plant with stems that become more or less woody; it can grow up to 3 metres tall. The plant is gathered from the wild for local use as a medicine. It is often grown as an ornamental, growing well in a tub. Another report says that this species is not grown as an ornamental - see nomenclature notes above
