Description
Saxifraga cymbalaria , is a species of alpine plant belonging to the genus Saxifraga . It is native to Europe , Asia and Africa . It is a small annual herb with stems up to 35 cm in length. Stem leaves developed nodular-rounded, superficially divided into 5-9 lobes, 1 × 1.3 cm. The flowers are collected in corymbose inflorescences. The petals are 4.5-6 mm long, bright yellow with an orange base. The sepals 3-4 times shorter than the petals. The seeds are round, black, 0.4-0.6 × 0.3-0.5 mm. The number of chromosomes of 2n = 18.
