It has been reported from�Alaska,�Yukon, the�Northwest Territories,�British Columbia,�Alberta,�Saskatchewan,�Montana,�Idaho.�Washington�and�Oregon. It grows on rocky�alpine�and�subalpine�slopes,�conifer�forests, stream banks,�bogs, etc.
