Description
Tarenna canarica is a species first described by Richard Henry Beddome, and got its current name of Cornelis Eliza Bertus Bremekamp. Tarenna canarica is part of the Tarenna genus and the Rubiaceae family. Of the Tarenna genus there are about 370 species distributed across the tropical world, from Africa to Asia and the Pacific Islands. These are shrubs and trees with oppositely arranged leaves and terminal arrays of whitish, greenish, or yellowish flowers.
