Description
Potentilla arenosa - a species of herbaceous plants of the family Rosaceae (Rosaceae), common in the Arctic and subarctic zones of North America Europe and Asia Etymology: Latin. arena - "sand", lat. osus is an adjective suffix.This is a perennial single grass with a central root. Stems from ascending to rectangular, (0.3) 0.8-2.5 (4.5) dm, in 3-5 times longer than the rootstock. Root leaves 1.5-12 cm; petiole 1-7 cm, contains long hair from the rare to abundant, 1-2 (2.5) mm; Sheet fragments from individual to overlapped, central vice-faceted, 1-3.5 (4.5) × 0.5-2 cm, the bottom of the leaves are white through the hairs from white to gray in the length of 0.5-1.8 mm. The upper surface of the leaves is dark green, bare or with long straight hair. Stem leaves (0) 1-2.Inflorescences 1-7 -floric. Flower pedicels 1.5-5 cm at flower, up to 6 cm in fruit. The flowers are radially symmetrical with 5 under-bed flowers, chalks and petals. Cupcakes 3-6 mm, tops sharp. Petals 4-7 × 4-7 mm. Saws 0.4 mm. Seagulls 1.1 mm.
