Chervil Buttercup (Ranunculus paludosus)
Description
“Pet poisonous” – Toxic parts: entire plant esp. leaves Ranunculus paludosus German also, chervil Buttercup called, is a plant type from the family of the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). Ranunculus paludosus is a perennial stem hemicryptophyte reaching heights of growth of 5 to 25 centimeters. The root collar is thickened and has a collar of interwoven fibers. The outer base leaves are usually simple, broadly wedge-shaped ovate, broadly toothed and dreilappig. The inner base sheets are dreischnittig, their sections are deeply cut. The crown is 9 to 14 millimeters in size. Per stalk are usually 1 or 2, rarely 3 or 4 flowers available. The nutlets are 2 mm in size and one to circular. The beak is 1 millimeter in size and almost straight or bent upwards. The flowering period is from February to April. The chromosome number is 2n = 8, 16 or 32.
