Bellflower Smartweed (Koenigia campanulata)
Description
Polygonum campanulatum (Lesser knotweed). This species is a creeping perennial growing to about 1m with lanceolate to elliptic leaves with a white to pink-brown hairy underside. The flowers are borne in loose branched nodding panicles of pink-red or white fragrant blooms in early summer to early autumn.
