The bent oncidium (Oncidium incurvum)
Description
The Oncidium incurvum is an epiphytic or lithophytic orchid with laterally flattened cylindrical pseudobulbs from which apically emerge two narrow coriaceous leaves oblong lingulate, in its center emerges a floral rod that develops in an arched shape giving rise to a cascade of numerous, tiny and fragrant flowers of one cm in diameter. It has a paniculated floral stem. Flowers with spots of various shades of purple and white labelo.
