Description

Mobilabium is a monotypic genus of epiphytic orchids . Its only species : Mobilabium hamatum , is native to Australia . It is a tiny or middle orchid that prefers warm weather, with an epiphytic habit that grows with an erect to oscillating stem, little branched, disordered, that takes from 3 to 15 leaves, very separated from each other, yellowish green and rigid, coriaceous , with the hook apex. It blooms in the winter in an erect inflorescence of 3 to 6 mm in length, with 5 to 15 fragrant flowers.
