Description
It is a small-sized orchid, with habit of epiphyte and with thin, erect ramicaules, which are wrapped at the base by 2-3 loose pods, tubular and bearing a single leaf, apical, erect, thinly leathery, carinate, narrowly elliptic, acute , narrowing little by little below in the conduplicated base, indistinct, channeled and petiolated. It blooms in the spring in a thin inflorescence, purple, suberect, horizontal to descending, 5 to 8 cm long, inflorescence of single flower derived from the lower part in the ramicaule that is sparsely bracted and with tubular floral bracts.
