Cradle orchid (Anguloa clowesii)
Description
It is a large plant of terrestrial habit , sometimes epiphytic , with pseudobulbs grouped, conical-piriform, slightly compressed with 3 to 4 deciduous, apical, obovate or elliptical leaves . It prefers the warm climate to the cold and has large flowers of waxy touch, very fragrant, with solitary flowers of 8 cm in length. They flower in an erect inflorescence of 30 cm in length. It produces flowering from spring and throughout the summer . In its cultivation, we must be careful with mushrooms during the winter if it stays very humid.
