Victoria amazonica is a species of flowering plant native to the Amazon River Basin. It is known for its giant circular leaves, which can reach up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) in diameter and have upturned edges that can hold up to 32 kilograms (70 pounds) of weight. The plant also produces large, fragrant white flowers that bloom at night and can only be pollinated by beetles.
