Description
Syzygium perakense is a species of plant in the family Myrtaceae. It is a tree native to Peninsular Malaysia. Pear is called the fruit of different species of the genus Pyrus , composed of deciduous trees commonly known as pears. 1 However, when it comes to the edible fruit, reference is made mostly to that produced by the so-called common pear tree ( Pyrus communis ) . The pear is a juicy fruit, fleshy, and one of the most important produced in the temperate regions.
